On September 18th, 2017, the Irish Development Authority published a report called 'Ireland - A.I. Island', on the current state of Artificial Intelligence research and development in Ireland. Advanced Metadata was proud to be named in the report among the top 34 companies operating in this domain in the country.

At the AI Island cross agency event to launch the report, Ken Finnegan, Chief Technologist and Research Advisor with IDA, complimented all the companies for their contributions to the countries AI strategy and national AI curriculum. The full text of the report can be found at:

Ireland has a long standing tradition of investing in AI Research. For over 25 years, the Irish Government has supported industry-academic collaborations with such ground breaking research centres as ADAPT, CeaDAR and LERO. The report outlined the work of these centres and also highlighted that Ireland is the first country in the world to develop an industry-driven, nationwide Post Graduate MSc in Artificial Intelligence.
